St. Matthew Church and School will forever be in my heart. I have traveled extensively. Along the way I have been to many Catholic Church’s as far as and including Jerusalem, Israel and have yet to find a Church that lives up to my beloved St. Matthew. The Priest, Nuns, Teachers and Parishioners are dedicated above and beyond expectations. Tyrone Catholics are blessed with being able to attend school no matter their income. Sadly I have found this not to be the case around the world. As with our wonderful new Father, Father Orr worked painstakingly to keep the School running. I have never seen such dedication as the parents of the students, who are instrumental to the schools success. They are good, kind, thoughtful and very intelligent people. The teachers, principal, secretary, aids, etc. are far and few between. They are brilliant and love teaching the word of God. Yes, we have been blessed in little Tyrone. I know, I have seen what goes on in the world and St. Matthew is the finest I have come across. Looking forward to marrying at St. Matthews this summer. Where else would I go but where I feel loved each time I visit.
